The name Celeste is derived from the Latin word for 'heavenly'. The radiant glow that beams from the perforated brass is as inviting as it is dazzling.  The Celeste Table Lamp sits upon a black walnut base, with a contrasting brass on/off switch. The drum shade is left open so that the soft light illuminates your workspace, without compromising the delicate cast of light peeking through the perforated brass top.  

This lamp has 2 sockets and takes candelabra bulbs.  Hand sewn with our buttery soft 'Cloud Blue' leather, the subtle cool shade of blue is as calming as it is refreshing.  Or with our creamy soft 'Dogwood' leather, the subtle neutral shade of ivory with a hint of warm blush enhances the brilliancy of its walnut and brass counterparts. Made in the USA by Robert True Ogden for Lostine.

Lighting

+ To ensure lifelong performance we recommend the use of LED bulbs under 40W-incandescent equivalent, but you may opt for a higher watt LED bulb for your use and space as needed.

Brass

+ Please care for the brass pieces with a soft cloth, and avoid using any abrasive cleaners or products.
+ Natural patina process is quickened by touch and exposure. Gloves are highly recommended for installation.
+ Avoid humid and damp locations.

Leather

+ Please care for your leather products with a soft cloth and leather cleaner. Please be advised that exposure to sunlight and water will darken the leather.

+ Our leather will age beautifully over time. We celebrate the "living finish" of our leather and its inherent imperfections. Scratches, dents, folds and marks occur naturally in each hide. The shade and texture of the leather will vary with each item. The patina created by daily wear-and-tear is meant to change and evolve over time.

Wood

+ We recommend using a microfiber dust cloth to care for wood fixtures and furniture. Kindly avoid additional cleaners and products.
+ Variance in wood grain and color are to be expected.  No two items will look completely identical.

This product ships UPS Ground a boxed package from Philadelphia, PA. If your item is made to order, please refer to the item’s product page for current production lead times. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. Please allow up to 10 days for your order to arrive. This delivery estimate may change during peak times. If your item does not have a lead time, we make every effort to ship fulfillable orders within 5-7 business days. If you require expedited shipping, please contact us directly. Expedited shipping rates requested after 2 pm EST will be processed the next business day. In the unfortunate event that your item is damaged in transit, please alert Lostine within 10 business days of receipt, so we may promptly replace your item. Please provide photos of the item and its packaging.
Shipping to a Warehouse or Storage Facility
Lostine requires that all shipments be inspected and approved within 10 business days of receipt of merchandise by the client or the warehouse facility and to alert Lostine of any shipping damages or discrepancies within that time frame. Lostine will not be held responsible for any damages or discrepancies after the 10-business day time period. Lostine is not responsible for any damages that occur while in the care of a warehouse or storage facility or additional transit thereafter.

Is this fixture UL and CE rated?

This fixture can be either UL or CE certified. Please select the checkbox at the top of this page when adding this item to your cart for UL certification. Adding this certification may extend the lead time by (1) week. Please contact us directly to inquire for CE certification.

Do you ship internationally, outside of the United States?

Lostine can ship your order worldwide! International shipping rates, VAT duties and taxes will apply. Please contact us directly to inquire about international shipping if you do not see your destination available on our checkout page.

What does 'Made-to-order' mean?

Made-to-order means that once we receive your order, it gets included in a production run of that item and when it is completed, it ships to you directly. This reduces waste (we don’t overproduce inventory or cut into materials that aren’t needed), and keeps our small, hardworking team organized. We have a limited number of people on our team and a made-to-order workflow, so we are only able to produce a certain number of items each week in order to maintain our lead times.

Can you rush my order?

Many of our items are made-to-order. Rush requests are considered on a case-by-case basis as our production volume and schedule allows. If you are interested in requesting rush production, please reach out to shopkeeper@lostine.com with the product quantity, selected finishes, project deadline and delivery address. Rush fees may apply.

What is your return policy?

Items in unused, uninstalled condition may be returned for a full refund after 30 days from when you receive your order. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and original shipping costs are non-refundable. Click here to initiate a return.
