Our 3D design software walks you through building your chandelier in four steps:

1. Choose a frame shape
2. Select a metal and wood frame finish
3. Pick your pendants from our lighting collection
4. Preview the finished piece in 3D.
5. Once you're happy with your design, add it straight to your cart — we'll build it to order in our Philadelphia workshop.

No account is needed to use the configurator — you're free to design and preview your chandelier right away. We do recommend setting one up, though, particularly a trade account if you're a designer or architect, for trade pricing, complimentary finish samples, and other perks.

Not yet — but you can add your design to cart and edit it from there whenever you're ready to finish it. A dedicated save feature is on its way.

Yes — once you've finished your design, you can download a DWG file of the 3D render along with the spec sheet for your frame and pendant pairing, ready to send to your electrician or designer. Installation instructions ship with your order; if you need them ahead of time, just reach out to our team at shopkeeper@lostine.com.

Close, but not exact. The overall silhouette can shift depending on how you place the framework and set your drop length at install — both of which are entirely up to you. Finishes are shown as accurately as possible, but natural materials and living finishes mean some variation is normal.

Between two and five pendants per chandelier, depending on the frame you choose.

Mixing is limited within the configurator itself, but we're happy to consider specific requests — just email us at shopkeeper@lostine.com and we'll see what's possible.

Yes. Fixtures ship semi-assembled, with each cord pre-threaded through the metal framework and ready for your electrician to finalize on site. Every fixture includes 10 feet of cord — plenty of range to set the exact drop height you want.

Frame positioning also plays a big part in the final silhouette. We ship each piece set to a neutral midpoint, but final placement is entirely up to you and your electrician at install. If you need a drop longer than 10 feet, email us at shopkeeper@lostine.com and we'll help you plan for it.

Yes, an electrician is required. Fixtures ship semi-assembled, with cord pre-threaded through the frame. Your electrician finalizes the drop height, frame positioning, and wiring on site. Installation instructions ship with your order.

Each Elsa System ships with a ceiling canopy and mounting hardware. No additional hardware is required. We include installation instructions with your order when it ships. If you have any questions, please reach out to our team at shopkeeper@lostine.com.

Bulbs aren't included, but are available to purchase separately. Recommendations depend on the pendant you choose, and you'll find pendant-specific details on the spec sheet, downloadable in the final step of the configurator.

As a general rule, we recommend LED bulbs rated 40-watt equivalent or under — that's the "equivalent" number printed on most LED packaging, not the actual energy draw, so look for "40W equivalent" or lower on the box.

The Elsa System is compatible with sloped or cathedral ceilings with some adjusting of the framework upon installation. Please inquire with any questions.

UL testing and certifications are included with your purchase of any Elsa System configuration.

The Elsa System is not damp rated, and not recommended for bathrooms that experience high humidity or condensation without proper ventilation.

Each chandelier ships semi-assembled via UPS Ground. The cord set comes pre-threaded through the metal framework, ready for your electrician to finalize on site. Pendant bodies are wrapped separately for safety and are attached to the cord set at install.

Once your fixture begins production, we're unable to offer a cancellation. Depending on the nature of the change, we may be able to accommodate a request. Please reach out to us at shopkeeper@lostine.com with your order number and details, and our team will respond within 1-2 business days.

The Elsa System is final sale in any configuration and cannot be returned or exchanged.
