Beech Hall Stand by Nanna Ditzel
Designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1963, the ND 1 hall stand is a thoughtful study in utility and form. Crafted from solid lacquered beech and manufactured by Tarm Stole- og Møbelfabrik for Kvist, its rotating arrangement of dowel arms and pegs provides generous hanging space while maintaining a compact footprint. Clean lines and softly rounded details give the piece a sculptural presence that is equally suited to an entryway, bedroom, or dressing area.
Condition
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. The lacquered beech shows scattered scratches, surface marks, and areas of finish wear throughout, most noticeably on the base and several pegs. The hall stand remains sturdy and fully functional.
Kindly note that the item is in vintage condition, exhibiting signs of age and wear. While the upholstery is newly replaced, minor wear may be present to the underlying frame consistent with age and use.
