Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Maintenance Associate to join our team full-time. This hands-on role plays an important part in keeping our warehouse and production areas clean, organized, safe, and fully functional.

The ideal candidate will have experience—or a strong willingness to learn—in using tools, performing routine maintenance, handling production-related cleaning tasks, and working in a physically active, fast-paced environment. This position also offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership role overseeing a small team of custodial and basic maintenance associates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cleaning and organization of warehouse and production areas, including waste removal and inventory upkeep.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tools, shop equipment, machinery, and CNC machines.
  • Change, inspect, and clean filters on production machinery, dust-collection systems, HVAC equipment, and other facility equipment.
  • Clean machinery, vents, HVAC components, and surrounding work areas as needed.
  • Assist with the proper collection, labeling, storage, and disposal of production chemicals and chemical waste in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
  • Operate forklifts safely and complete required forklift inspections, training, and certification.
  • Use basic power tools, including drills, nail guns, and impact drivers, for light construction, repairs, and crate assembly.
  • Help pack, crate, and prepare outgoing shipments.
  • Safely load and unload materials and products, including items weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Manage and maintain facility fire extinguishers, including routine inspections and coordinating required servicing.
  • Participate as a member of the company's Safety Committee and assist with implementing workplace safety initiatives.
  • Support OSHA compliance efforts by assisting with inspections, documentation, safety training, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support warehouse and production teams with a variety of physical and operational tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Report maintenance needs, damaged equipment, chemical spills, or other safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Assist in directing custodial and maintenance staff as the position develops into a leadership role.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, facilities maintenance, custodial, or production experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with—or willingness to learn—routine maintenance on CNC machinery, production equipment, HVAC units, and other shop tools.
  • Comfortable changing and cleaning equipment filters on a regular basis.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures for handling and disposing of production chemicals and chemical waste.
  • Proficiency using hand and power tools.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain forklift certification upon hire
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual labor safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to shift between multiple tasks and projects as priorities change throughout the day.
  • Comfortable working in varying environments, including warehouse areas, production floors, mechanical spaces, and occasionally outdoors.
  • Ability to communicate in both Spanish and English is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and interested in growing into a leadership position.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and remain physically active throughout the entire shift.
  • Comfortable working in an active warehouse and production environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials weighing 50+ pounds consistently and safely.
  • Comfortable working around dust, machinery, filters, cleaning products, and production materials while wearing required personal protective equipment.
